Citizens are invited to attend the July 26, 2016 Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors meeting to request financial data on the 11 month preliminary hearing that is being conducted at 12th  and L, Department 26 of the Stanislaus County Superior Court.

The Back Story has informed the County that a gathering is planned for the downtown courthouse at 11:30 on Tuesday, July 26th.

The County e-mailed an “exclusive use packet” despite the fact; an exclusive use was not requested.

The County then stated there were more forms to fill out before permission could be granted.

Permission to use the steps of the courthouse has to be obtained from the State of California, and insurance would have to be provided for use of the area called County Park.

If you wish to join the gathering and ask for an accounting, we do have permission to assemble on the sidewalk

On August 15th, defense attorney Frank Carson, former CHP officer Walter Wells, will have been in jail for one year without a trial.

It is being reported that $5 million has been spent by District Attorney Birgit Fladager and Sheriff Adam Christianson on the investigation and prosecution of former candidate for district attorney Frank Carson.

It’s time to account for the money. A jury will decide if the case goes to trial.
